I have found this to be the best spray .The only thing it wont clean is mirrors, glass as it leaves it streaky and dont use it on wooden surfaces but i use it on everything else evan the floors and it leaves the house smelling fresh.
1 litre water
200 ml vinegar
40 ml detergent (20ml if using concentrated detergent like Morning Fresh)
10 ml eucalyptus oil (or lemon juice)
2 dessertspoons of washing soda (lectic soda: powder, NOT crystals)

Mix all ingredients together, and it's ready to use. It makes approximately two litres. Use 60 ml of solution in warm water to wash your floors. Fill a spray bottle and use it to clean your table, benches and bathroom. Great for greasy surfaces. Also great for killing ants! Use as a pre-wash spray for oily or greasy marks. DO NOT use on timber furniture. If using warm or hot water to make the mixture, make sure it is completely cool before putting into spray bottles (warm water can damage the spray mechanism).

• Variation – substitute the detergent and eucalyptus oil with equivalent quantity of Homebrand wool wash.

Thanks Mel,

I always forget to add electric soda. Plus I never new that thing about warm water and spray bottles. Now I know why they leak.

The window cleaner is the best.. I also use it on stainless steel surfaces and all my taps and forsets, gets them nice and shiney.

Cheers
